Middle Schoolers Meet Singer John Legend
Accompanied by teachers, two students met the singer and a senator.
When won a from Samsung in the company's Solve for Tomorrow contest for a video that students created, part of the prize included a trip to Washington DC and a visit with Senator Robert Menendez and R&B recording artist John Legend.
Students Jessica Competiello and Emma Plunkett, along with principal Jeanne Howe and GATEways gifted and talented teacher Nancy Harris went on the trip.
"It was amazing," Harris said. "Samsung really did a nice job."
