Morris County Man Charged With Vehicular Homicide

Matthew Pulis caused a fatal accident on April 25, authorities said.

JEFFERSON, NJ - A 21-year-old Oak Ridge man is being charged in the wake of fatal accident on April 25, according to the Morris County Prosecutor's Office.

It is alleged that Matthew Pulis was the driver of a motor vehicle involved in a single-vehicle motor vehicle crash that occurred in the area of mile marker 3 on Berkshire Valley Road in Jefferson Township, authorities said.

A 21-year-old male passenger was pronounced dead at the scene and Pulis has been charged by summons-complaint with one count of third degree Strict Liability Vehicular Homicide and is scheduled for a court appearance on July 29, authorities said.
