Morris County Motorcyclist Killed In Crash With Teen Driver

Accident under investigation, took place on Rt. 15 Tuesday afternoon, police said.

Jefferson, N.J. - A motorcyclist in Morris County was struck by a car Tuesday afternoon and later died from his injuries, police said.

At 4:27 p.m. Tuesday Jefferson Township police received a report of a motor vehicle crash on Route 15 South near the intersection of Edison Road, Deputy Police Chief Eric Wilsusen said.

An investigation revealed Richard Bianculli, 46, of Wharton, was heading south on Route 15 when he was hit by a car being driven by a 17-year-old female, Wilsusen said.

CPR was performed at the scene and Bianculli was taken to St. Clare’s Dover Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

The investigation is ongoing and no charges have been made at this time.
