Oak Ridge Runners Place in Benefit 5K Race

Proceeds go toward a youth running program.

A group of Waters Edge (Oak Ridge) residents ran the Stillwater stampede, a 5K in Newton, last Sunday.

Sue Hannon came in second in the 40-49-year-old age group with a time of 26:49.

Tara Nicolosi also took second in the 30-30-year-old age group.

Adam Zerda came in third in the 30-39-year-old male age group.

The race was to benefit The Bears Running Club, a youth running program that teaches kids the positive physical and mental benefits of running.
