Township hosts 25th annual ceremony.

Saturday marked the 25th annual Veterans’ Day celebration in Jefferson Township.

The festivities began with a parade starting at the middle school that traveled down Weldon Rd. to the municipal building, followed by a ceremony at the Veterans’ Memorial on the municipal building grounds.

Mayor Russell Felter introduced the speakers, including Lt. Col Charles Koehler, the U.S. Army Garrison Commander at Picatinny Aresenal and Harold Liberatore, Commander of the NJ American Legion.

After the ceremony, all in attendance were invited for refreshments in the municipal building.
