American Legion Post 423 will be hosting a Pig Roast Oct. 12, inviting local families to enjoy a hearty dinner and support the organization.
The roast will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. at the post headquarters at 28 Legion Road in Oak Ridge.
The dinner will include roast pork, pulled pork, mashed potatoes and gravy, steamed vegetables, salad and dessert, as well as beer, soda, coffee and tea. Dinners are available for takeout too.
Dinners will cost $30 for adults, $20 for senior citizens and children 7 to 12 years old. Children under 6 eat free. Proceeds will benefit veterans in need.
