Timothy Pilewski received Eagle Scout Honors at last weekβs Jefferson Township council meeting.
Pilewskiβs project was two-fold: he worked with Grace Rhinesmith, the townshipβs recreation director, to build and install seven picnic tables at Camp Jefferson. In addition, he designed and planted a garden at the playground on Cherry St. in Lake Hopatcong. He put a selection of perennials, including butterfly bushes, in the garden.
βI can remember playing there a lot as a kid, and I wanted to make it look nice,β Pilewski said.
