Police: Two Homes Burglarized in Two Days

Two residences on Lower Berkshire Valley Road were burglarized in a two-day period, police said.

On Oct. 7, residents of one home reported that they left the home for about an hour and found the home broken into when they returned, police said. According to police, someone entered the home through a window after removing an air conditioning unit. Jewelry and other property were removed from the home, and a 1985 Ford pickup truck was also taken using keys that were taken from the home, police said.

Then on Oct. 8, someone threw a rock at the sliding glass door of another home on Lower Berkshire Valley Road, police said. Jewelry and other property were taken from the home, police said.

Both incidents are still under investigation.
