- Cover to Cover, the Jefferson Township Libraryβs book discussion group for adults, holds its monthly gathering Thursday at 10:30 a.m. in the libraryβs Riker Room. This month's read is "Rules of Civility,"Β the first novelΒ by Amor Towles. The book is aΒ sophisticated and entertaining story aboutΒ a young woman in 1930s Greenwich VillageΒ whose life is on the brink of transformation. - Get your weekend started early with a great double bill at the Stanhope House.Β This Century featuring Nick SantinoΒ and opening actΒ The NorthernΒ take the stage at the venue Thursday night. Tickets are $12 andΒ may be purchased online. Showtime is at 6 p.m.Β

TheΒ $20 fee (cash or check only, please)Β gets you a 5 x 7 portrait by a professional photographer, and there are other photo items you can purchase. ProceedsΒ benefit the Jefferson Township MunicipalΒ Pound. The event will be atΒ Camp Jefferson, 81 Weldon Road inΒ Lake Hopatcong Saturday fromΒ 11 a.m.-5 p.m.Β
