Power Outages, Hazardous Roads In Jefferson
Breaking: The nor'easter has been causing power outages and road problems in the township.

JEFFERSON, NJ — As a nor'easter makes its way through northern New Jersey, hundreds of homes are without power and road are dangerous to drive on in Jefferson.
As on 1:35 p.m., 262 homes are without power in Jefferson, and 19,882 are dark countywide. JCP&L says it's not sure when service will be restored in the area.
Jefferson Police are warning drivers of dangerous road conditions.

"This winter storm has created extremely hazardous road conditions. There are numerous road closures due to accidents and downed trees," police said. "Emergency response personnel and snow removal operations are urging township residents to stay off the roadways and please remember no parking on streets."
