Residents Give Back Large Quantities of Drugs
The township's drug disposal day deemed a success.
The bins were filling up at town hall in Jefferson Township—full of unused and unwanted medication that residents had been returning all of Saturday morning during the township's .
In conjuntion with the statewide effort, township police officers Ivan Rodriguez ande Joe Hale were on hand to collect any medications that residents dropped off.
Jefferson police will take the drugs to the Morris County Police Academy on Monday, where they will be weighed and then incinerated.
