Sanchelli Named Homecoming Queen

Sophomore wins honor over court of nine.

Sophomore Courtney Sanchelli won out over a court of eight of her peers to be named Jefferson Township High School’s homecoming queen for 2011. First runner-up was senior Lauren Ferguson and second runner up was senior Megan Delanoy.

Others in the court included freshmen Kali Crayne and Jenna Gamble, sophomore Gina Laganella, juniors Darby Nolan and Bailey Fasano and senior Vivianna Samite.

The ceremony took place at halftime of Friday night’s football game between the Falcons and the Morris Hills Scarlet Knights. Morris Hills bested the Falcons 27-14.
