Santa Claus Is Coming to J-Town

Jefferson's Fire Company No. 2 will hold  its annual Santa Tour around the lake on Dec. 16-18.

The Fire Department will leave the Route 15 firehouse at 4 p.m. on Dec. 17 and 18. The schedule is as follows:

Dec. 17: Water Village, Peaks, Lakeview Estates, Rt. 181, Lake Winona, Prospect Point, Brady Point, Dawn's Mist

Dec. 18: Brady Park, Waterside, East Shores, Nolan's Point, Mase Rd., Minnisink Rd., Lower Berkshire Valley Rd.

To help maintain the schedule, residents who live on a dead end street are asked to bring children to the nearest cross street. All children will receive candy canes from the members of fire department and the Jefferson Township Rescue Squad. They will get a close look at Santa and the fire engine.
