Jefferson Schools Delayed 2 Hours Due to Snowstorm

All schools in the township are on a delayed opening because of Tuesday's snowstorm, the Jefferson Board of Education reported on their website. The storm also caused schools to close early yesterday.  

According to the BOE, AM kindergarten and AM preschool are cancelled for Wednesday as well.

Here's the opening schedule for township schools today:

  • Jefferson Township High School will open at 9:15 a.m.;
  • Jefferson Township Middle School will open at 9:35 a.m.;
  • White Rock Elementary School will open at 10:30 a.m.;
  • Arthur Stanlick Elementary School will open at 10:20 a.m.;
  • Ellen T. Briggs Elementay School will open at 10:35 a.m.;
  • Cozy Lake Elementary School will open at 10:30 a.m.;
  • Milton Elementary School will open at 10:30 a.m.
