Soggy Victory for Falcon Football

Jefferson goes to 3-0 with win over Mount Olive.

The Jefferson Falcons remain undefeated on the gridiron, beating Mount Olive 14-7 on Friday night.Β  It wasn’t the cleanest of games, literally or figuratively. A steady rain came down throughout the game, sometimes to the point of drenching. The weather played a role in the game, causing many fumbles.

IN SHORTΒ The Falcons went down 7-0 in the first quarter, with a Mount Olive score after about three minutes of play.

However, the Falcons evened the score with about 30 seconds left in the half, when Steve Dallacardillo ran the ball in for a touchdown.
