
The earth, at least in Jefferson Township and the rest of Morris County, is expected to get a heavy dose of rain for Earth Day, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).
A nor’easter is expected to hit the area overnight Saturday and into Sunday, with up to four inches of rain possible. A flood watch is currently in effect, and high winds are also expected.
The New Jersey State Police on Saturday issued an advisory about the storm, and noted that specific impacts will depend on the exact track of the storm.
