Tea for Two (or More) at the Jefferson Historical Museum
Here's today's installment of "A Picture and a Paragraph."

Today’s installment of “A Picture and a Paragraph” shows us a dining room table set with a tea service on open house Sundays at the . Historical Society president Carol Keppel explains that Elizabeth Chamberlain, the lady of the house that is now the museum, would have served afternoon tea because she was the lady of the house of an important family.
Welcome to a new feature here at Jefferson Patch—“A Picture and a Paragraph.” It’s exactly what it sounds like, really. We’ll post a picture, and write a short paragraph about it. Maybe it will be a photo of an event that already happened, or something that didn’t make a past photo gallery. Maybe it will be something that we see that catches our eye. In any event, it will be something fun for you to look at.
We’d like to invite you to submit your pictures for “A Picture and a Paragraph” as well. You can send the photo to me, susan.toth@patch.com. You can write your own paragraph, or just give us a quick description and we’ll write the paragraph. It’s up to you. Have fun choosing your photos! (But remember, Patch is a family-friendly publication!)
