Teen Jailed For Handgun Possession In Morris County

Michael Marano also had drugs on him when arrested, police said.

JEFFERSON, NJ - A 19-year-old Brooklyn man was sent to jail after a motor vehicle stop on Dec. 30, according to the Jefferson Police Department.

According to authorities, Michael Marano of Brooklyn, NY, was arrested during on Route 15 south for Unlawful Possession of a handgun, Hindering Apprehension and Possession of Marijuana.

His passenger, Peter Pisciotta, 20, of Brooklyn, NY, was arrested for Possession of
marijuana, police said. Pisciotta was released on a summons, pending a future court date.

Marano was transported to Morris County Correctional Facility, police said.
