Here's what's happening in J-Town this week.

According to Phineas and Ferb, βthereβs 104 days of summer vacationβ¦β Okay, maybe not quite 104, but the rest of the summer looms ahead. Here are some things you can do, at least for the first week of summer vacation.
- : SonRise National Park Vacation Bible School takes place this whole week at from 9 a.m. β 12 p.m. For more information or to register, visit www.gefcnj.org.
- Β If youβre having trouble with your teenagerβs behavior, this is the group to go to for support. It meets tonight at 7 p.m. at theΒ office.
- : This event will take place at the on Wednesday night starting at 6:30 p.m. Funds raised will go toward weed removal on Lake Hopatcongβs Brightβs Cove. Information on weed treatment options will be available.
- : The council meets on Wednesday night at 7 p.m. in council chambers at the . Check out a meeting and find out whatβs happening in town.
- : This series kicks off on Friday night with the Jefferson Township Community Bands. The fun starts at 7 p.m. at the gazebo outside the . Bring a blanket or chair, a light snack and donβt forget the bug spray. The arts committee asks that you leave the alcoholic beverages at home. Admission is free but donations are gratefully accepted.
