Free Dog Rabies Vaccine Clinic

5pm – 7pm 

57 Minnisink Road, Lake Hopatcong 

Jefferson Township Municipal Pound

Please be advised this is a FREE rabies vaccination clinic open to all residents of NJ. All animals shall be brought to the clinic and accompanied by a responsible adult. All dogs must be restrained via leash and/or tethered. 

Per state law, your pet’s license cannot be renewed if the rabies vaccination expires prior to November 1 of the licensing year

It should be noted that a reluctance to administer a rabies vaccine prior to the expiration of the previous vaccination will not be accepted as a valid reason for an exemption. Early boosteing has not been associated with an increased occurrence of adverse reactions and is not medically contraindicated.
