Widgren Named Director of Pupil Personnel Services

Margaret Widgren, currently a vice-principal at will become the district’s Director of Pupil Personnel Services starting July 1. Her appointment was confirmed by the at its meeting on Monday night.

Superintendent Joseph Kraemer and board of education members offered congratulations to Widgren.

In addition, several awards were bestowed at last night’s meeting. principal Karl Mundi honored the high school’s valedictorian. Jenny Shan and salutatorian, Rachel Faust, both of whom also won the Summa awards for their grade point averages. Mundi presented medals to both winners.

Kraemer presented both with gifts from the Morris County Board of Education.

“We have a dinner every year honoring valedictorians and salutatorians from all the districts in the county. But imagine this, both girls chose to go to the prom instead of the dinner,” Kraemer said with a smile.
