Family Doctor In Jersey City Arrested For Sexually Abusing Patient: Police
An 88-year-old family doctor has been arrested for sexually abusing a patient, Jersey City police said.
JERSEY CITY, NJ — An 88-year old family doctor in Jersey City has been arrested for sexually abusing a patient, police said.
Dr. Humberto Perez, a family medicine physician, was taken into custody after a patient reported allegations of sexual misconduct during a medical consultation, a spokesperson for the Jersey City police said Monday afternoon.
He has been charged with sexual assault and criminal sexual contact, she said.

"This remains an active investigation," she said.
Anyone with information pertaining to Dr. Perez is asked to call the JCPD’s Special Victims Unit 201-547-6505. Calls can be made anonymously.
