Jersey City Downed Traffic Signal Closes Lane Saturday Morning: DOT

JERSEY CITY, NJ - A downed traffic signal in Jersey City has prompted traffic delays in the area Saturday morning, authorities said.

As of 9:46 a.m., there’s a traffic signal down on Rt. 440 in both directions south of US 1&9 truck route/Communipaw Avenue in Jersey City, according to the New Jersey Department of Transportation.

One left lane is currently closed, the agency said.
