Man Found Dead Behind Union City Building, Homicide Squad Investigating
Prosecutors are investigating the death of a 56-year-old man found dead behind a Union City building two weeks ago.
HUDSON COUNTY, NJ — The Hudson County Prosecutor's Office Homicide Unit is investigating the death of a man who was found behind a building in Union City on Nov. 14, they said Wednesday.
Reynaldo Gonzalez, 56, was prpnounced dead at the scene around 11:30 a.m., a half hour after the Union City police were called to a building behind 23rd Street, said the Prosecutor's Office.
On Wednesday, the Regional Medical Examiner’s Office determined the cause of death to be complications of blunt force injuries and the manner to be homicide, prosecutors said.

Following the Medical Examiner’s report, the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Homicide Unit formally assumed control of the investigation.
No arrests have been made, prosecutors said.
