Man Found Dead, Woman Stabbed In Jersey City Heights
A man was found dead, and a woman was bleeding, in Jersey City Heights this week, said a police spokesperson.
JERSEY CITY, NJ — A man was found dead, and a woman found bleeding, at a Jersey City Heights home on Tuesday, said a police spokesperson.
Around 12:35 a.m. Tuesday, police were called to a Central Avenue residence, according to police spokeswoman Kimberly Wallace-Scalcione.
"Upon arrival, JCPD officers observed a female [outside] bleeding from the neck and left groin area," according to police. "It was reported to police that the 49-year-old female had been fighting with a male known to her when she was stabbed in her neck and left groin area."

The woman was taken to a local hospital, where she was found to be in stable condition, police said.
Shortly afterward, police entered the residence, where the man was found dead, police said.

No charges have been filed.
The Hudson County Prosecutor's Office did not respond when asked whether they are investigating.
