JERSEY CITY, NJ — The weekly farmers' market at Riverview-Fisk Park in Jersey City Heights, just up the 9th Street Light Rail elevator from Hoboken, is a lively place, full of music, vendors, and activities, with a playground and a view of New York City.

This Sunday, there will be another feature that's become an annual favorite: A Peach Pie Contest and Festival.

Attendees will get to sample the pies that have been entered. There will also be live music, face-painting, and other free family activities.

Organizers say, " We're also hosting a special pop up from Kacey Musgraves! Grab her new album Deeper Into The Well on vinyl and get a free tote with any purchase! Plus, Hudson Pride will also be joining us to share local resources for the LGBTQIA community and offer free HIV testing Receive a $15 gift card if tested."

One of the vendors, Hank Schwartz's Delicatessen, said in an email to customers, "We’re going festive with the return of our Pastrami, Mutz and Peach Jam sandwich. We’ll also have all of your other favorite noshes."
