ALDI Plans To Come To Lacey Township, Report Says
The company will renovate the former Staples store on Route 9

LACEY TOWNSHIP, NJ Residents here may soon have another place to do their food shopping as ALDI is expected to open a new store here in Lacey.
ALDI is right in the middle of an accelerated growth plan,and plans to invest more than $5 billion to remodel and expand its store count to 2,500 by the end of 2022, according to the company website.
The company plans to renovate the former Staples store in the Sunset Plaza mall off Route 9, according to a report in app.com.

Permits for the new store have not been issued, and work has not begun on the new store, the report said.
ALDI plans to increase its fresh food items by more than 40 percent as part of the expansion, according to the company website.
