Coast Guard Auxiliary To Offer Safe Boating Classes In Lacey On May 20

Anyone who completes the course will receive a Boating Safety Card

LACEY TOWNSHIP, NJ - All power boaters ages 13 and up must complete the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary's boating safety course in time for the upcoming summer season.

USCG Flotilla 79 will hold the one-day class on May 20, June 10, July 8 and Aug. 12. The classes are requied of all power boaters and personal water craft operators. However, personal watercraft operators must be the minimum age of 16.

Class hours are 8 a.m. to 4 .m. for one day, at the Lacey Community Hall on Lacey Road in Forked River.
