Committee to Discuss Personnel and Capital Requests at Budget Workshop Meeting

The third budget workshop meeting will be held at the Municipal Building at 7 p.m.

The township committee will be holding its third budget workshop meeting at the at 6 p.m.

“Ideally, tomorrow we’ll be finalizing personnel requests and capital requests,” Mayor Mark Dykoff said Wednesday.

Dykoff has asked the committee to review all from public works, the police department and emergency services, which were presented during previous budget workshop meetings.

At today’s meeting, the committee will discuss what’s “most important” and “what (they) would like to see,” he said.

With capital purchases, the township would have to bond and put 5 percent down for a down payment, Dykoff said.

“We have to determine and let the CFO know how much we want to allocate in the budget for capital requests,” he said.

Dykoff would like to see the budget presented at the township caucus meeting on Thursday, April 26.
