1 Killed, 1 Seriously Injured In Lacey Parkway Crash: State Police
The car ran off the road and down an embankment, hit multiple trees and flipped, ejecting the two passengers, police said.
LACEY, NJ — One person was killed and another seriously injured in a single-car crash on the Garden State Parkway in Lacey early Sunday morning, New Jersey State Police said.
Troopers responded to the crash just after 6 a.m. near milepost 73 on the Parkway, New Jersey State Police Trooper Christopher Postorino told Patch.
Brian Fort, a 20-year-old from Toms River, was driving an Infiniti car with a 22-year-old man from Long Branch in the front passenger seat, Postorino said.

Near milepost 73.2, the car ran off the road to the right and went down an embankment, hit multiple trees and overturned, Postorino said. The two men were ejected in the crash, Postorino said.
Fort died from his injuries, while the passenger was seriously injured, Postorino said. His current status is unknown.

A reason for the crash was not given.
The crash remains under investigation and no further information was available as of Monday morning, police said.
