'Empty The Shelters' With Discounted Fees At Popcorn Park
Adoption fees for cats and dogs are reduced to $50 during the limited-time event.
LACEY, NJ — If you are looking to bring a new furry friend home for the holidays, now is the perfect time - the Associated Humane Societies Popcorn Park Shelter is offering discounted adoption fees for a short time.
The shelter is participating in the BISSELL Pet Foundation "Empty the Shelters Holiday Hope Event" beginning Dec. 1 through Dec. 17. During this time, adoption fees for cats and dogs are reduced to just $50 (kittens and puppies excluded).
This lower fee still includes vetting, spaying/neutering, microchip and more, according to the shelter.

For this event, BISSELL Pet Foundation is sponsoring reduced adoption fees at 382 organizations in 43 states.
"Our nation's animal shelters are facing an overcrowding crisis unlike anything we have experienced in more than a decade," the foundation wrote on its website.
