UPDATE: Forked River Gang Member Gets 3 Years in Screwdriver Stabbing
22-year-old, an admitted gang member, stabbed two people in one night, authorities say

A Forked River man will spend the next three years in state prison for an Oct. 2012 incident in which he stabbed another person with a screwdriver during a robbery.
Victor Andrade, 22, was sentenced Friday by Superior Court Judge Rochelle Gizinski on charges of second degree robbery and third degree aggravated assault, according to Ocean County Prosecutor's Office spokesman Al Della Fave.
The sentencing stems from the October 3, 2012 incident where, at approximately 7:31 p.m., near Clifton Avenue and Second Street in Lakewood, Andrade stabbed a victim in the face with a screwdriver, Della Fave said.
He left the scene of that assault and a little over an hour later, on Second Street in Lakewood, committed the robbery and assault of the second victim by demanding $10, taking the victim's cell phone, and then stabbing the male victim in the face with a screwdriver, said Della Fave.
Andrade, an admitted member of the Grand Family Mexicano gang who has deportation proceedings pending, was located within minutes of the second incident by Lakewood Police and placed under arrest. He has been incarcerated in the Ocean County Jail ever since.
Senior Assistant Prosecutor Hillary Bryce and Assistant Prosecutor Christine Lento prosecuted the case, said Della Fave.
Andrade will serve out his sentence at New Jersey State Prison and will be required to serve 85 percent of his sentence under the state's No Early Release Act.
