Incident happened on Buena Vista Road, police chief says.

Lacey police recently charged a Forked River woman with heroin possession after they responded to a dispute on Buena Vista Road, Police Chief Michael C. DiBella said.

Officer Jesse Dalziel responded to the 800 block on the street in Forked River on a report of a dispute at 6:07 p.m. on Nov. 13. Investigation at the scene led to the arrest of Jeni L. McDaniel, 27, Buena Vista Road in Forked River, on an outstanding Ocean County Sheriff’s Department warrant in the bail amount of $1,815.21 DiBella said.

McDaniel was taken to the Ocean County Jail in Toms River in default of bail. Correctional officers found two empty wax folds of heroin hidden in her inner clothing. Dalziel processed the evidence and charged her with possession of heroin, the chief said.
