'Friday Night Lights' In Lacey Coming Up Tonight
Event starts at Gille Skate Park at 6 p.m. and will run until 10 p.m.

LACEY TOWNSHIP, NJ - Get out your skateboards, scooters and in-line skates. It's almost time for "Friday Night Lights" at Gille Park Skate Park.
The free event will run from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m. on June 13, with music provided by a live DJ starting at 7 p.m. Police Chief Michael C. DiBella said.
Lighting will be provided by the Lacey Township police department, with help from local fire departments. Police officers, Lacey Township and Lanoka Harbor emergency medical services will also be on hand, the chief said.

The event will also include a mobile gaming trailer provided by "Party Crashers" from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Age- appropriate games will be available for the kids. The "Party Crashers" trailer has been used in prior Gille Park Skate Park evening events,Lacey Day Events, and many other events in Ocean County. The trailer is sponsored by the Lacey Municipal Police Foundation and the Lacey Municipal Alliance.
SubscribeThe skate park is only for the use of skateboards, scooters, and in-line skates. Bicycles are not permitted. All users must wear a helmet in the skate park at all times, and follow all skate park rules. Bottled water is permitted in the park.

The Lacey Municipal Police Foundation has partnered with Tom & Dee's Italian ice to share the cost of providing one small free Italian ice to each child or young adult who comes to this Friday Night's Skate Park event and uses the skate park. All skate park users will be required to be signed in and will be provided with one ticket for a free Italian Ice for them to use, the chief said.
Additional 2018 skate park evening events will be held on Sept. 7, Sept. 21, Oct.5, Oct. 19, and Nov. 2, 2018. Additional dates may be announced for August 2018.
