'Friday Night Lights' On Tap For Tonight In Lacey
The event for Lacey Township residents is only for the use of skateboards, scooters and in-line skates, police chief says

LACEY TOWNSHIP, NJ - It's almost time for "Friday Night Lights" at Gille Park Skate Park again.
The event starts at 6 p.m. tonight and will run until 10 p.m. A live DJ will play music beginning at 7 p.m.
Lighting will be provided by the Lacey Township police department, with help from local fire departments. Police officers, Lacey Township and Lanoka Harbor emergency medical services will also be on hand, Police Chief Michael C. DiBella said.

The free event will also include a mobile gaming trailer provided by "Party Crashers" from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Age appropriate games will be available for the kids. The "Party Crashers" mobile gaming trailer has participated in prior Gille Park Skate Park evening events, prior Lacey Day Events, as well as numerous other events throughout Ocean County. The mobile gaming trailer is sponsored by the Lacey Municipal Police Foundation and the Lacey Municipal Alliance.
SubscribeThe skate park is only for the use of skateboards, scooters, and in-line skates. Bicycles are not permitted. All users must wear a helmet in the skate park at all times, and follow all skate park rules. Bottled water is permitted in the park.
Additional 2018 skate park evening events will be held every other Friday night. The next one is slated for July 13. Other dates include Sept. 7, Sept. 21, Oct. 5, Oct. 19, and Nov. 2, 2018. Additional dates may be announced. The events started in August 2016, and continued through last year.
