GOP Outspending Democrats 5-1 In Lacey Campaign

Republicans also out-fundraise Democrats in municipal election

Republican candidates for Lacey Township Committee are outspending their Democratic rivals 5-1, according to the most recent filings from the state Election Law Enforcement Commission.

Republican candidates Steven C. Kennis and Peter Curatolo have raised $34,612 and spent $26,125, according to the filings. The GOP's top donor's included Remington & Vernick Engineers at $3,500 and T&M Associates, another engineering firm, which donated $2,650.

The Ocean County Republican Finance Committee paid for a $5,000 poll to be conducted, according to finance records.

Democrats Alison Lemke and Gary Vaccaro have raised $7,063 and spent $5,457, according to filings. Their top contributor was the Ocean County Democratic Committee, at $900.
