I Heart Horror Day Returns To Sayreville
I Heart Horror Day Part 2 to take place at VFW Post 4699.

On Saturday, February 10th, the Brothers Cuneo, in association with Cryptids and Paranormal Productions presents I Heart Horror Day Part 2 at VFW Post 4699, located at 575 Jernee Mill Road in Sayreville. Centering this year around a "Mardi Gras Massacre" theme, this event was created to raise money for The Deborah Heart & Lung Center in Browns Mills. Last year, this event raised $6,000 for the hospital. Anyone who has ever been treated at Deborah knows that they work with you if you have trouble paying for your treatment.
The entrance donation is $15.00 per adult or $7.00 for the little monsters aged seven through twelve. To help with directions, it should be noted that this venue is across the road from Starland Ballroom. This year also marks the fact that I Heart Horror Day is now recognized as a New Jersey Non-Profit Corporation! The Brothers Cuneo are not just organizers but also fans, as this can be heard by the enthusiasm in their voices when they speak about this event and horror movies in general.
In addition to food, raffles and giveaways, there will be live music, horror and paranormal themed authors, artists, filmmakers, crafters, vendors and speakers. Cosplay is definitely encouraged and appreciated. The live music will contain something for everyone at this all-ages event. The magical blues stylings of Chuck Lambert and Josh Zuckerman, formerly of China White, will be performing. As a member of China White, Zuckerman opened up for acts that included Warrant, Joan Jett, Kix and Dee Snider. As a solo act, he was joined by members of the Blackhearts at select shows.

The festivities begin at 11:00am sharp and is advertised as ending when the "Screams Die Down!" Sunday, February 18th, is listed as the "inclement weather date." So, grab your garlic and your crosses and come on out because you are being dared to have a good time for a great cause!
