Kyler J. Gandy, Baby With A Contagious Smile, Dies At 7 Months

Kyler Joseph Gandy, born June 16, 2017, passed peacefully in the arms of his loving mom and dad on February 5, 2018.

During his short time here, he knew nothing but love from family and friends. Kyler will be remembered for his contagious smile and deep belly laugh.

He is survived by his mom and dad, Joseph Gandy and Paige Cavanaugh; grandparents, Joan and Richard Gandy, Sr., Kathy and Ray Vogel and Michael Cavanaugh; great-grandmother Sally Blood "Mom-Mom"; his aunts and uncles: Richard Jr., Michael, John, Anthony, and Jimmy Gandy, Heather and Dave Cummins, Michael, Nicole and Connor Cavanaugh; cousins: Ashtin Groff, Starrlah Cain, Lena and Sophia Marinello, Austin, Jordyn and Preston Gandy, Cooper and Kaden Cavanaugh and Kyler's buddy and pup, Abel.

A Memorial Gathering will be held from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 10, 2018 at Riggs Funeral Home, 130 North Rt. 9, Forked River, NJ 08731.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Kyler's memory may be made to the Childhood Leukemia Foundation, 807 Mantoloking Road, Brick, NJ 08723 and/or the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital care of the RWJUH foundation, 1 RWJ Place, New Brunswick New Jersey 08901
