Lacey Cops Looking For Woman Who Blatantly Stole Air Conditioner From Forked River Home
The Item Was Taken While Homeowner Watched From Inside Her Home

LACEY TOWNSHIP - Lacey police are investigating the theft of a window room air conditioner that apparently was stolen from a Forked River driveway while the homeowner watched from inside, Police Chief Michael C. DiBella said.
Officer Michael Hein responded to the 500 block of Chelsea Street, Forked River at 2:31 p.m. on Aug. 11 on a theft report. Investigation at the scene revealed that the caller was inside her residence when she saw an older model red or brown two-door pickup truck back in to her driveway, DiBella said.
A white, blond female - roughly 40 years and 130 pounds and wearing a black shirt - exited the truck and took the air conditioner, which had been on the ground between the owner's two garage doors, the chief said.
