Lacey Detectives Investigating Theft Of $100,000 In Jewelry

Someone entered the garage of a Lanoka Harbor home and took the items from a secured safe, police chief says

LACEY TOWNSHIP, NJ - Lacey detectives are investigating the recent theft of roughly $100,000 in jewelry from a safe inside the garage of a Lanoka Harbor home, Police Chief Michael C. DiBella said.

Officer John McKee responded to a home in the 200 block of Quail Lane South at 3:44 p.m. on Jan. 5 on a theft report. The victim told police that sometime between Dec. 25 and Jan. 5, someone entered his secured garage and opened his locked safe, the chief said.

The suspect removed $100,ooo in jewelry from the safe. Detective Brian Flynn responded and processed the scene, DiBella said.
