The following is a list of places that will either be closed in observance of Veterans Day or remain open:
- The Municipal Building will be closed in observance of Veterans Day.
- There will be curbside recycling for glass, cans and paper on Monday, Nov. 12 for Zone 3.
- The Recycling Center will be open on Monday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Leaf collection begins today. Keep bagged leaves separate from yard debris, recycling and regular garbage.
- The Post Office will be closed.
- The school district is opened.
- The Lacey Library and Ocean County Library System will be operating on regularly scheduled hours.
- Trucks for bulk pick up will be traveling through the flood damaged areas of Lacey.
- The Lacey United Methodist Church remains open as a shelter, distribution center and a place for volunteers to lend assistance.
- St. Pius is also open as a distribution center and residents in need can call the Forked River Baptist Church at 609-693-2726 for help too.
