Lacey Man Charged With Numerous Burglaries Arrested For Drunk Driving The Next Day
Michael Dautorio was arrested for DUI one day after he was arrested for multiple burglaries in Lacey and Toms River.

Lacey police arrested a Forked River man who was charged with numerous burglaries in Lacey and Toms River recently and charged him with drunk driving one day after the burglaries, Police Chief Michael C. DiBella said.
Officers Martin Julian, Andrew Slota and Patrick Watkins responded to the area of Argos Farm, located at 1250 Lacey Road in Forked River, on a report of a motor vehicle crash, at 8:57 p.m. on Feb. 6, the chief said.
Investigation at the scene led to the arrest of the driver, identified as Michael Dautorio, 30, of Drew Avenue in Lanoka Harbor for driving under the influence. He was taken to police headquarters and charged with DUI, reckless driving, driving on a suspended license, failure to exhibit a valid registration, failure to exhibit valid insurance and failure to maintain lane, DiBella said.

His car was impounded pursuant to John's Law.
Dautorio was arrested one day earlier for many burglaries in Lacey and Toms River. He had already been charged with previous burglaries in Berkeley Township prior to that.
