Lacey Man Out More Than $700 After Someone Burglarizes His Car, Police Chief Says
Incident took place in Kohl's parking lot.

Lacey police are investigating the recent theft of $720 in items from an unlocked car parked in the Kohl's parking lot on Route 9 North in Forked River, Police Chief Michael C. DiBella said.
Officer Julie Barcalow responded to Kohl’s at 4:58 p.m. on April 28., located at 304 Route 9 North in Forked River, for a report of a car burglary. The victim reported that at approximately 4 p.m. on April 28, he went into Kohl’s, and left his vehicle unlocked, the chief said.
When he returned home, he discovered that a large black duffel bag containing cash, gift cards, shoes, clothing and other miscellaneous items was stolen from his vehicle. The total theft is estimated at $720, DiBella said.
