Lacey Mother A 'Queen' Who Keeps Family Together

LACEY, NJ— Moms do so much for everyone around them. We try to celebrate them all year long, but Mother's Day is a perfect opportunity to shout it from the rooftops and post it on Patch: Mom rocks!

Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize the awesome moms and mom figures in communities like yours.

What makes your mom extra special?

My mother has 4 grown children and still to this day will go out of her way to make sure us kids are taken care of. From the daily phone calls checking in on us or the typical Italian mother's "did ya eat today," it trickles down to her grandchildren as well. She’s the queen of the family.

Why do you feel your Mom deserves the spotlight?

My mother is the strongest, kindest person out there. She showed us her strength last year when she was battling COVID while my dad was in the hospital fighting his battle as well. She keeps the family together through the best and some of the hardest times. I couldn’t imagine my life without her.
