Lacey Mourns Loss Of 'Unofficial Therapy Dog'
Finn, a staple of the Lacey police department and Lanoka Harbor EMS, has died, the agencies said.
LACEY, NJ — You may have seen Finn the dog at events throughout the Lacey community. The unofficial therapy dog of the Lacey Township Police Department and Lanoka Harbor EMS, Finn has now "crossed the rainbow bridge" and the agencies are mourning his passing.
"Many, many, people throughout Lacey enjoyed visits from Finn," the Lanoka Harbor EMS wrote on social media. "Whether it was the local Doggie Derby or our squad meetings and drills, Finn was there."
The police department's unofficial therapy dog, Finn was owned and loved by dispatcher and EMT Kathy Nogalo, who shared him with the squad and community as a whole.

Lacey police shared photos of Finn and called him a "staple in our community" as well as a member of their family.
"Rest easy FINN, and thank you for your years of service and enjoyment to the members of the Lacey Township Police Department!" Police wrote.

"Finn, keep doing what you do best offering therapy to all of the pups on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge who are missing their families...." Lanoka Harbor EMS wrote.
