Lacey Police Arrest Forked River Woman On Heroin Charges

Victoria Mas was picked up on an outstanding Galloway Township warrant, then discovered to have heroin, police chief says.

Lacey police recently arrested a Forked River woman on an outstanding warrant charge, then discovered she was in possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia, Police Chief Michael C. DiBella said.

Police detectives responded to the parking lot of Wawa on Route 9 North at 2:22 p.m. on Sept. 26. They arrested Victoria Mas, 36, Sandy Hook Drive. Mas had an outstanding $89 warrant out of Galloway Township.

Detectives then discovered Mas was in possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia. She had an outstanding traffic warrant out of Galloway Township Municipal Court for an obstructed windshield summons, with a bail amount of $89. Victoria Mas was also found to be in possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia. She was taken to police headquarters, where she was also charged with possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia, the chief said.

Mas was released on her own recognizance for the outstanding warrant.
