Lacey Police Arrest Lakewood Man For Heroin Possession At Wawa

Arrest stemmed from an aggressive driver report, police chief says

LACEY TOWNSHIP, NJ - Lacey police recently responded to an aggressive driver complaint at Wawa and ended up charging a Lakewood man with heroin possession, Police Chief Michael C. DiBella said.

Officer Anthony Sarno responded to the store at 800 Lacey Road in Forked River at 6:40 p.m. on Feb. 22. on an aggressive driver report. There he found Ali Gunaydin, 36, and arrested him for possession of heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia, the chief said.

Gunaydin was transported to police headquarters, processed, where he was also charged with possession of a hypodermic syringe and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle. He was taken to the Ocean County Jail in Toms River, DiBella said.
