Lacey Police Arrest Seaside Woman On Drug Charges In Wawa
Melissa D. Fillingim, 27, also had an outstanding warrant, police chief says

Lacey police recently arrested a Seaside Heights woman and charged her with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of drug paraphernalia at the Wawa store on Laurel Boulevard and Route 9 North, Police Chief Michael C. DiBella said.
Officer Jesse Dalziel responded to the store in Lanoka Harbor at 4:23 a.m. on Sept. 24 on a report of a suspicious person, the chief said.
Investigation at the scene led to the arrest of Melissa D. Fillingim, 27, Kearney Avenue, on an outstanding $999 warrant out of Freehold Township Municipal Court for shoplifting. During the arrest, she was found to have a controlled dangerous substance and drug paraphernalia in her possession, DiBella said.

Fillingim was taken to police headquarters and process, then transported to the Ocean County Jail in Toms River for a bail hearing, the chief said.
