Lacey Police: Bayville Man Put Shoplifted NFL Cards In His Pants
Steven S. Hawk, 45, also charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, police chief says
LACEY TOWNSHIP, NJ - A Bayville man has been charged with shoplifting after he was spotted putting Donruss Elite NFL trading cards in his pants at the Walmart store on Route 9 and leaving the store without paying for them, Police Chief Michael C. DiBella said.
Officers Michael Hein and Julie Barcalow responded to the store in Lanoka Harbor at 5:53 p.m. on Jan. 30 on a shoplifting report.
They arrested Steven S. Hawkin of Hickory Lane, Bayville. He was also charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance after police found he had 17 Xanax pills, the chief said.

He was taken to police headquarters and released after receiving criminal summonses for shoplifting and possession of a controlled dangerous substance, DiBella said.
