Lacey Police Charge Atlantic City Woman With Vehicle Theft

Pleasantville police found Samirah L. Wilson, 19, in the stolen vehicle

LACEY TOWNSHIP, NJ Lacey police recently arrested an Atlantic City woman and charged her with stealing a vehicle from a Lanoka Harbor home, Police Chief Michael C. DiBella said.

Samirah L. Wilson, North Arkansas Avenue, 19, was eventually pulled over by Pleasantville police on Aug. 15,who had stopped her in the vehicle and notified Lacey police, the chief said.

Officer Michael Hutman responded to the 400 block of Drew Avenue, Lanoka Harbor on Aug. 14 on a report of a stolen vehicle. He was told by the homeowner that a female acquaintance of his son took the keys to his son’s vehicle while he was at work and left the residence without authorization or permission, DiBella said.

Wilson was turned over to Lacey police. She was charged with theft of a motor vehicle, then taken to the Ocean County Jail in Toms River, the chief said.
